1. Bananas and Melons - Incorporating alkaline fruit like bananas and melons into your daily diet can help fight acidity. Further, bananas are a great source of magnesium, which is a common ingredient in antacid medications.

2. Cumin Seeds - Jeera or cumin seeds are good for neutralizing stomach acid and relieving stomach pain. Jeera water is an excellent home remedy for hyperacidity. Steep 1 tsp jeera seeds in a cup of boiled water and drink after meals.

1. Fennel Tea - Eat BreakfastThis is good for digestive related cramping, bloating or nausea. To prepare fennel tea, boil ½ tsp crushed fennel or saunf seeds in water for about 10 minutes. Strain and drink.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar - Sometimes, indigestion is caused by insufficient production of stomach acid. In such cases, apple cider vinegar can boost your body’s acid production. Add 1 tsp of raw apple cider vinegar to a glass of water, and drink for quick relief.

3. Cinnamon – This sweet-smelling spice contains many antioxidants that may help ease digestion. It also helps reduce the risk of irritation and damage in the digestive tract. It may also help to reduce gas, bloating, cramping, and belching. They may also help to neutralise stomach acidity to reduce heartburn and indigestion. If you have an upset stomach, add 1 tsp of cinnamon powder or an inch of cinnamon stick to your meals.
